Divorce & Separation Coaching

When something ends, something new begins. During this profound time of transformation, the future may not be clear.... yet.

Individual divorce coaching helps you stay grounded in your strength, release the fear, and embrace change.

How do you know what’s next when you’re rediscovering who you are?

No one plans on getting a divorce. So when you’re facing this transition after years of being with the same person, it’s natural to feel overwhelmed.

  • Loneliness

  • Financial anxiety

  • Fear for the future

  • Social disconnection

  • Fear of being seen as a failure

  • Wondering how your family and children see you

In times of stress, we often turn to family and friends for advice, comfort, and support. But divorce can feel different — it can feel like the air has been sucked right out of you. And sharing the rollercoaster of thoughts, emotions, and fears often feels like too much to navigate with an intimate friend or confidante.

You are not alone — and whatever you’re going through It is valid and normal.

Support Through Transition

Divorce is often known as “a year of transition.” I offer two signature coaching programs to facilitate meaningful transformation, cultivate self-awareness and growth, and rediscover who you are when you’re on your own.

Based on practical guidance, a wealth of personal and professional experience, and over 20 years of training and practice in the field of psychology, these programs will help you re-engage and build forward momentum through what can be a painful, disorienting process.

What’s the difference between counseling and coaching when it comes to divorce?

As a professional coach with over 20 years of experience as a licensed mental health counselor, I have spent thousands of hours working with individuals helping them rediscover themselves during and beyond transition.

And here’s what I’ve found:
My coaching programs facilitate more movement and more impact in a shorter time period than traditional counseling. That’s why I became a coach!

Traditional counseling (“therapy”) is an insurance-based model that typically only allows for once-a-week, 55-minute sessions and requires a medical diagnosis.  Coaching is an action-based model focused on discerning your wants and needs. When things are intense, I’m here with more flexibility to meet you where you are in your process—and help you move forward.
